Tunesday Adds: Gaspar Sanz, Ulises Hadjis, & More

Every week, RPM updates Tunesday, our new global indie playlist. Check out this week’s adds below!

This week’s adds are headlined by a couple of Australia’s best psych rock bands. The famously prolific Melburnians King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are back with their new single “Honey,” while Sydneysiders and RPM favorites Gaspar Sanz have dropped “On My Mind,” from their forthcoming Glass Rainbow EP. Joining them are Brisbane’s Cub Sport, a quartet of indie pop icons who just released their fourth album Like Nirvana on Friday.

We’ve also got new singles from Venezuelan singer/songwriter Ulises Hadjis and Korean rap superstar Crush, as well as the new one from Evangeline Gentle: the Scotland-born, Ontario-based songwriter’s single “Friday” shows off both their lyrical talent and vocal prowess. And from the United States, we’ve got recent releases from Choctaw-American folk artist Samantha Crain and Chicago rapper and activist Noname, plus a social justice-inspired one from L.A.-based R&B artist Kiana Ledé. Closing it all out, we’ve got a bilingual David Bowie cover from Mireya Ramos, founder of Flor de Toloache–New York’s first all-women mariachi band. Hope you enjoy!
