Tunesday Adds: Dream Wife, The Money War, & More

This week’s additions to our Tunesday playlist include the new singles from Irish rockers Fontaines D.C. as well as longtime favorites The Money War. The duo out of Perth, Australia have hit new heights with “Lifetime,” a track that sounds like getting older and wiser, which fits in with the group’s sonic evolution. Joining them are fellow Aussies RAT!hammock and Tom Myers, with the latter, the former drummer of Brrisbane outfit Papa vs. Pretty, releasing his deeply personal and heart-melting debut single “The Great Unknown.”

Norwegian/British glam rockers Dream Wife feature with a song off their new album So When You Gonna…. They’re joined by fellow Brits IDLES out of Brighton, the wildly talented Joy Crookes from South London (with Irish-Bengali heritage), and London-based African ensemble Afriquoi, who combine Congolese and Gambian influence for a Pan-African flavor on their floor filler-filled new EP, Time is a Gift Which We Share All the Time.

Rounding out our playlist adds is the new one from Upstate New York-bred bedroom pop star Gus Dapperton, plus a hit of electronic lo-fi from one of our favorite underground artists: Melbourne, Australia’s Xirita. Hope you enjoy!
