Tunesday Adds: Dizzy, Alice Ivy, & More

Every week, RPM updates Tunesday, our new global indie playlist. Check out this week’s adds below!

New to Tunesday this week is “Roman Candles,” the new song from Oshawa, Ontario’s own dreampop studs Dizzy, off their upcoming album The Sun and Her Scorch. Speaking of new albums, Aussie electronic powerhouse Alice Ivy just dropped her new LP Don’t Sleep, featuring an absolutely A+ list of collaborations, including “Don’t Sleep” featuring Edmonton rapper Cadence Weapon.

We’ve got some of the best new hip hop this week, headlined by the iso-tinged social justice anthem “Lockdown” from perennial favorite Anderson .Paak. Also featuring are two Aussie favorites, including a cut off the new album from Sydney’s L-FRESH the LION, and the new track from Zimbabwe-born, Adelaide-raised Tkay Maidza (a name you should definitely know, as she’s poised for a breakout).

We’ve also got new singles from indie pop/R&B heroes Wafia and Ngaiire, as well as Filipino-British DIY indie darling beabadoobee. Plus, the new transcontinental collab between Auckland prodigy BENEE, London indie experimentalist Bakar, and Atlanta super-producer Kenny Beats. Rounding it all out is a track from one of our favorite under the radar discoveries, British rockers poolhouse. Hope you enjoy!
