Tunesday Adds: Ball Park Music, London Grammar & More

Every week, RPM updates Tunesday, our new global music playlist. Check out this week’s adds below!

This is one of our favorite weeks for Tunesday adds in a while. That’s because it’s headlined by new tunes by some of our favorite acts in the world!

Starting off, we’ve got a track off Ball Park Music‘s new self-titled album. The Aussie stalwarts are one of modern music’s best and most consistent, and their latest record is no different. They’re joined by a couple other Aussie acts: Sydneysiders Middle Kids are back with a belter of a single in “R U 4 Me?,” while singer/poet/superstar Odette has dropped “Dwell” off her forthcoming sophomore album Herald. Her achingly honest lyrics and cathartic vocals are on full display in this one.

Moving to the U.K. now, we’ve got the title track from London Grammar‘s upcoming third album, Californian Soil. Last month the Nottingham trio graced us last month with “Baby It’s You,” their first new music in three years; this track makes it two for two in 2020. And from Norway, the latest song by girl in red is one of her best yet. We’ve also got the latest release from Vancouver, Canada natives Peach Pit, whose effervescent charm is as present as always.

Rounding things out, we’ve got some special treats from around the globe: a bossa nova-tinged track from South Korean dreamboats HYUKOH; an ode to sneakers from Moroccan trap artist ISSAM; a sleek and spicy one from São Paulo-based indie pop act Labaq; and a soulful ballad from South Africa’s Manu Grace. Happy listening!
